Her Artwork - 24/7 Maxx Mumbai is a triptych of humorous, whimsical animated episodes introducing Mumbai through three of its most recognisable workers — the fisherwoman, the dabbawala, and the Bollywood actress. Morning belongs to the fisherwoman, afternoon follows the dabbawala on an endless video-game loop, and night falls on a Bollywood spectacle. Technology is a new costume worn with characteristic Mumbai confidence — the work argues that the city's genius has always been its workers, and the future will be made by them.

Othersoul Studio, led by Akanksha Jain and Rohan Chauhan, builds art at the edge of fashion, technology, music, and world-building, creating surreal cinematic environments shaped by the emotional rhythm of cities — especially Mumbai.

Their Artwork - Neo-Mumbai Heirlooms is a series of digital fashion films that reimagines Mumbai as a style capital of 2050. The work fuses Indian draping methods, luminous textiles, and Indo-futuristic jewellery against a speculative cityscape, creating a future-facing portrait of Maharashtra where couture becomes both cultural memory and technological interface. Sarees, ornaments, and urban landscapes merge into a single visual language — a future in which couture is not only worn by the body, but by the city itself.

An economist turned painter and a brilliant colourist with a strong individualism in her work, Nayanaa Kanodia can be considered to be the pioneer of the genre of L’Art Naif in India. She has held innumerable shows in India and abroad. Her paintings are in the collection of major art collectors and corporate houses all over the world.

Her Artwork - In Love with Mumbai In Love with Mumbai is an ode to the City of Dreams, celebrating its spirit, romance, and everyday poetry. Bringing together six paintings by Nayana Kanodia, the film tells the story of a young couple whose relationship unfolds against the vibrant backdrop of Mumbai. Characters from each of the original paintings were digitally separated and meticulously animated, transforming static artworks into a seamless narrative. By blending traditional art, animation, and cinematic storytelling, the film creates an unexpected visual language that breathes new life into Kanodia’s iconic works.

Kmotion, also known as Puks, is an India-based digital artist whose work transforms everyday moments and quiet urban spaces into immersive animation. They have developed a non-linear, intuitive 3D practice, especially through deep exploration of Blender 3D.

Their Artwork - Mumbai 2075 reimagines familiar transit spaces in a futuristic city. Local train cabins are transformed into docks and elevated residential blocks, responding to the threat of rising sea levels. In this future vision, Mumbai restores its mangroves and revitalises its habitat, incorporating utopian elements like electric maglev transportation and solar panels floating along the coastline. The soundtrack draws from '1960' by Malfnktion, whose album 'Hindustani Rascal' experiments with the sounds of Mumbai.

Sheehij Kaul is an independent illustrator and graphic designer based in Delhi. Her illustrations reflect a deeper, introspective exploration of surrealism, often set in dreamlike landscapes. Managed by PaperMonday, with animation by Stray Motion and sound design by Rishi Shah.
