The work freezes areas of the city that hold deep meaning for the artists — a time capsule of sights, sounds, and textures evoking the fleeting nature of memory and the spirit of place. Reality merges with a digital tapestry, resonating with personal memory, transformation, and the blending of the tangible and imagined.

Rahul Sharma is a new media artist and architect whose practice sits at the intersection of spatial design, generative systems, and audiovisual performance. Rooted in architectural thinking, he uses algorithmic processes, real-time computation, and sensory feedback to create immersive environments that are materially grounded and temporally fluid.

His Artwork - Rekha: Traces of Time reimagines the Sanskrit concept of 'line' as both artistic gesture and temporal thread. Drawing from the hand-carved lines of Ellora and the painted strokes of Ajanta, the work invites visitors to retrace sacred geometries through their own movements. Particle systems bloom with colour as hands become brushes, collapsing centuries into a single meditative gesture where the ancient and contemporary converge in luminous conversation.

Switch Studio and Oona work at the intersection of urban culture, ritual, and technology. Drawing on the everyday theatre of Mumbai — railway station weighing machines, beachside fortune tellers, small acts of belief — their practice reinterprets analog folk practices through a contemporary digital lens.

Their Artwork - Bhavishya Yantra reflects on our enduring relationship with fate, chance, and belief. When a visitor holds out their hand, the machine awakens and animates a miniature vision of Mumbai — fragments of transport, leisure, and street rituals moving in a synchronised rhythm. Out of this orchestrated chaos, a fortune emerges, shaped by chance and the pulse of the city. A personalised fortune card travels with the visitor as a small artefact, reimagined for a contemporary journey.

Studio Oleomingus works at the crossroads of literature, interaction design, and speculative storytelling. Their practice creates delicate, poetic experiences that treat the audience as co-authors — building spaces where narrative, presence, and gesture unfold together. Their Artwork - The Forest of Perpetual Departures holds what departs and what lingers in delicate tension. Each visitor conjures a numinous creature from the landscapes of the Sahyadris. The creature stays on screen until the next passer-by arrives to witness and release it, leaving behind their own trace — turning the installation into a loop of recognition, where strangers become momentary caretakers of each other's presences. For travellers caught in the loneliness of transit, the work offers a subtle acknowledgement: you stood here, your presence mattered.
