Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited (“NMIAL” or “we” or “us” or “our” in all forms) is engaged in the business of design, development, construction, expansion, operation, maintenance and management of Navi Mumbai International Airport, Navi Mumbai. This website, i.e. https://navimumbai.adaniairports.com (“Website”) has been developed, owned and operated by us and is offered to its users, who may view or access the Website (“Users” or “You” or “you”).

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

a). At NMIAL, we are committed to protecting your Personal Data (as defined below) and respecting your privacy.

b). This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) outlines our practices in relation to the Processing (as defined below) of your Personal Data that is shared by you when you access, use, or otherwise interact with us to access information through the Website (collectively, the “Services”).

c). Our Website can be used by users who are below the age of 18 years (“Child Users”) or people with disability, as defined under Indian laws (“PWD”). If you are a Child User and/or a PWD please do not share your Personal Data without the written consent of your parents/lawful guardian.

d). We encourage you to read this Notice carefully that forms the essential terms for use of the Platform and availing our Services. If you do not agree to anything herein, please write to our Grievance Officer or please do not use this Website and our Services.

e). Please read this Notice in consonance with our Website Terms and Conditions, which you should also read and agree to for use of this Website.

f). We are not responsible for and have no control over the privacy and data processing and information security practices of third parties (each acting as an independent data fiduciary) which may differ from those prescribed in this Notice.

g). Where your personal data is processed by us in our role as a data processor acting on behalf of any third party, we do so in accordance with their instructions under our contracts with them and if you wish to exercise any rights that you may have under applicable data protection laws, please contact them directly. In case you submit any such request to us directly, we will refer your request to the relevant data fiduciary.

3. Definitions & Key Concepts

In this Notice, the following definitions are used:

a). Cookies - A small file placed on your device by Platforms, when you either visit or use certain features of our Platforms. A cookie generally allows a website or mobile application to remember your actions or preference for a certain period of time.

b). Data Fiduciary - Any person who alone or in conjunction with other persons determines the purpose and means of Processing of Personal Data.

c). Data Processor - Any person/entity that Processes Personal Data on behalf of a Data Fiduciary.

f). Group Entity (ies) - Adani Airport Holdings Limited, and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, associate companies and joint venture companies.

g). Personal Data - All digital data that identifies or relates to an identifiable natural person, whether collected as such or subsequently digitized.

i). Processing/ Process - All wholly or partly automated operation or set of operations performed on Personal Data, and includes collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, alignment or combination, indexing, sharing, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, restriction, erasure or destruction, or other dealings with Personal Data.

j). User or You/you - in all of its variations thereof means the natural person using or accessing this Website.

4. What Personal data do we collect about you

We may process the following broad types of Personal Data for the purposes as set out in this Notice; please note that the list below is not an exhaustive list of all types of Personal Data Processed and further details can be provided on a need-to-know basis by writing to the Greivance Officer:

  • promotional, marketing, and user engaged data such as interaction history, survey responses, feedback;

Please do not provide Personal Data about others unless you are authorized or required to do so by contract or applicable law.   • to respond to a medical emergency involving a threat to the life or immediate threat to your or someone else’s health;
  • to enable medical treatment or health services to a person during any threat to public health; or
  • to assist any person during a disaster or breakdown of public order.

8. Sharing of data

Our processing will include processing by a third party acting on our behalf or jointly with us for specified purposes, other legitimate uses, or other bases as permitted under applicable law. We may share your Personal Data with third parties for the purposes listed in this Notice, such as

  • Group Entities, affiliates and subsidiaries and with our vendors for the purposes listed in this Notice including operating and maintaining the Website, providing Services, managing risks, detecting fraudulent and unlawful activities, service level assistance, and administrative purposes;

In general, Personal Data collected and Processed under this Notice is hosted on servers located in India. However, in the course of our processing, your Personal Data may be transferred outside India in compliance with the Data Protection Law and other legal requirements.

We endeavor to implement and maintain physical, managerial, technical, organizational, and procedural safeguards that are appropriate to protect your Personal Data against loss, misuse, copying, damage, modification, and unauthorized disclosure or access, including storage on secure servers, implementing access control measures, and periodic security posture assessments.
